Meet the Dentist in Fort Lauderdale, FL and his Staff
Dr. Max Zaslavsky was born in Brooklyn, NY. He moved with his family to Boca Raton, FL where he graduated from Olympic Heights High School. This dentist Fort Lauderdale, FL specialist received his Bachelor’s in Chemistry from the University of South Florida in 1999, and subsequently attended Nova Southeastern University School of Dentistry. He graduated in 2004, garnering prestigious awards from both the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Max spent several years practicing dentistry in Fort Myers, FL, but decided to launch his practice in coastal southeast Florida, where he grew up. Focusing on his roots within the area, Dr. Max is the only General Dentist in Fort Lauderdale, FL to be on staff at the Imperial Point Medical Center, where he contributes both his time and expertise to all patients that might require dental care and counseling. This dentist Fort Lauderdale, FL expert is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic, as well as the Broward County Dental Association. Dr. Max, the dentist in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is also an active participant in professional development courses, logging over 100 hours each year in order to ensure the delivery of the most advanced techniques in the practice of dentistry to his patients.
When Dr. Max is not working with patients, or continuing his professional development and that of his staff members, he enjoys watching a Marlins game, going to the gym, and attending live music events in the local area.
Maria Rodriguez is our office Dental Assistant, and moved to Sunrise, Florida in 2002. Originally from Yonkers, New York, Maria is the “patient central” of our practice. She understands that patients who come into our office are people in need of dentistry, not some anonymous dentistry problem with a name on a chart. Her sensitivity to, and awareness of the human side of our practice has been fine-tuned over the years. She is the eldest of 3 sisters, and the proud mother of 2 boys. When Maria isn’t attending to patient needs and caring for her family, she enjoys exercising, dancing, and loves to watch her kids playing various sports!
Monica Becker is our newest team member here at the office. Born and raised in Hollywood, Florida, she chose being an assistant because she loves connecting with patients and putting a smile on their faces! . When not in the office she enjoys dancing, art and fashion.
Joanne Adames is our Dental Hygienist and “plaque exterminator.” With over 25 years of experience on focusing on your oral hygiene for optimum health, she is more than qualified to answer any and all of your questions. You will find that your experience here with Joanne is unlike any other because, simply put, she just loves her work. Originally hailing from New Hampshire, but now residing in Florida, she is a proud mother and grandmother, who on her off time enjoys baking and working out.
Ross Hutchison, our office Administrator, is originally from Clarence NY, a suburb of Buffalo. Ross joined our practice in January 2012 after working in Fort Myers, Fl and Washington, DC in the dental industry. Since relocating to Fort Lauderdale in December 2011, Ross has become involved with the South Florida Symphony and The Mack Business and Social Networking Group.
